Is it more important to love … or to be loved?
Most of us would agree with George Eliot’s words, “I like not only to be loved but also to be told I am loved.”
Valentine’s Day is the occasion when you can experience both. And it is just a week away, also with it comes the challenge of finding a very special way to tell your partner that you love him or her. Valentine’s Day gifts can be touchy and if you are married and been together for years –then it must be harder for you to choose the perfect gift. Because you are already done with the roses and chocolates. That’s why we’ve come up with an eclectic mix of cool and budget-friendly Valentine’s Day gift ideas so that you can take a load off and just enjoy spending a little one-on-one time with your date.
- Make breakfast for her: Wake up early in the morning before she gets up and prepare breakfast for her. Let her start the day with her favorite foods and some fresh flowers. And after you finish your cooking make sure to clean the whole kitchen counter so that she can relax without worrying about the cleaning.
- Do her daily work: Even if its Valentine’s she doesn’t get to take a day off from her daily housework like laundry or cleaning the house. You can simply help her with the daily work or why not do it for her?
- Bake some cake: It is very easy to bake some chocolate cake or cookies! Just ask Google. You will find the recipe anywhere on the net. Just get the recipe and the ingredients right and make sure your oven is working.
- Whatever you do, accompany that with handwritten notes: Buy a stack of notepads with envelopes. Write something sweet like “why you love her” or maybe “you will be with her forever” just remember what you do leave a sweet message or with some fresh flowers. The heart of Valentine is to express your love. It’s not how perfect the gift is or how expensive it is, it’s about the emotion and how much you care and love your partner. So have a nice and loved Valentine. Best wishes from Sheba.xyz!
